Elyse P. Erlich, MD

Dr. Elyse Erlich, a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist, has been part of WomanCare since 2006. She addresses a full range of gynecological issues, including abnormal bleeding, fibroids, ovarian cysts, and abnormal pap smears, offering both medical and surgical treatment options tailored to each patient's needs. Dr. Erlich specializes in minimally invasive surgeries such as hysteroscopy and laparoscopy, and is skilled in laser vaginal rejuvenation.

A passionate advocate for quality care, Dr. Erlich treats her patients like family. Originally from Chicago, she earned a double Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from the University of Illinois in 1987 and completed her medical training at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine. She has a decade of experience as a primary teaching faculty member at Lutheran General Hospital's residency program.

Dr. Erlich actively participates in medical missions to Guatemala and the Philippines, providing care to underserved communities. She currently serves as the Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwest Community Hospital and is the Medical Director of the MedSpa at WomanCare. Recognized as one of Chicago's "Top Doctors" by Castle Connolly and Chicago Magazine, she enjoys reading, yoga, tennis, skiing, and hiking in her free time. She is married with four children, including twins.
