Alyssa Kaham Fargotstein, MD

Dr. Kahan Fargotstein, M.D., was born and raised in the Chicagoland area. She graduated summa cum laude from Tulane University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Gender and Sexuality Studies. After Tulane, Dr. Fargotstein attended Rush Medical College, where she earned her M.D. and was also inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. 

Following medical school, Dr. Fargotstein completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of Chicago Medical Center. Dr. Fargotstein’s practice will cover general obstetrics & gynecology. 

Her professional passions include advocating for reproductive justice and caring for underserved populations. In furtherance of these, Dr. Fargotstein will also provide OB/GYN care for patients at Greater Family Health’s Federally Qualified Health Center in the north suburbs of Chicago.
Outside of work, Dr. Fargotstein is married and enjoys cooking, baking and world traveling.
